Key Information
Best time to go: The golf season at Reynolds runs year-round, with the peak seasons being in the spring and fall. During the summer months, the weather is very hot and humid and many of the golf courses undergo aerification during these months. Be sure to check with Reynolds which courses are open in the months of June-August.
Airport: Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport (ATL) is the best option to get to Reynolds Lake Oconee. Atlanta offers numerous rental car options and leaves you with a manageable 1.5 hour drive.

Courses You Must Play In Reynolds Lake Oconee
Great Waters: Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Great Waters is a visually stunning course and a top 100 public course in the United States. The course offers breathtaking views of Lake Oconee. With the exception of No. 10, water is either in play or visible for every hole on the back nine. Â
The Oconee: Designed by Rees Jones, this course offers a beautiful blend of natural beauty and challenging play. The course features a variety of hole designs, with some playing along the lake and others winding through rolling hills and wooded areas. The layout places a premium on accuracy, with many holes featuring well-placed bunkers and water hazards.
The National: The National is a 27-hole course designed by Tom Fazio that offers a variety of playing experiences.
The three nine-hole courses each have their unique character, with the Ridge and Bluff nines playing through rolling hills and dense woods, while the Cove nine offers breathtaking views of Lake Oconee.
The Landing: Designed by Bob Cupp, The Landing is a classic-style course that provides a fair but challenging test of golf. The layout features tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and challenging water hazards. The course is known for its picturesque setting, with many holes playing along the shores of Lake Oconee.
The Preserve: The course is situated in a natural preserve area. The course features dramatic elevation changes and a variety of hole designs that require a player to use every club in their bag. This course is one of the shorter courses and generally best for a variety of skillsets.
Accomodations
The Landing/National Cottages: The Landing cottages are located right across from the landing clubhouse. The National Cottages are located across from the National Tavern. The cottages offer 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a large living room and kitchenette. These are perfect for large groups and Reynolds can ensure cottages next to each other if renting more than one. The National Cottages offer guests the ability to walk to and from the bar, without having to worry about driving!
