The course was designed by Greg Norman, and it is renowned for its challenging links-style play. The course is 18 holes and is set on a 400-acre estate that features dunes, sand traps, and stunning views of the ocean. The course is approximately 60 minutes from Shannon Airport, making it an easy destination for golfers traveling from afar.
  2. Waterville Golf Links: Waterville is a world-renowned course that is situated in County Kerry. The course was designed by Eddie Hackett, and it has hosted some of the world's most prestigious golf tournaments. The course is 18 holes and is set on a stunning peninsula that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The weather in Southwest Ireland can be unpredictable, so it’s important to bring appropriate clothing and equipment for all weather conditions. No matter what month you go, you need to be prepared for sun, rain, and wind. 

If you’re planning to play golf in Southwest Ireland, it’s best to fly into Shannon Airport. Killarney is about a 1 hour and 45 min drive from the airport and is a great central location to stay. Killarney has a number of hotels, Airbnb’s, restaurants, and bars. The courses mentioned above are all located within driving distance of each other. The best way to get around Southwest Ireland is by car, and there are several car rental companies available at the airports. Another fantastic option is to hire a driver for your trip. This way your group can enjoy everyday without the added stress of driving. 

Outside of golf, there are a number of activities to do. Sightseeing in Ireland is incredible, with the Cliiffs of Kilkee or Cliffs of Moher a short drive away. There are also a number of castles and historical landmarks worth taking a visit. Not to mention, the Guinness in Ireland is incredible.
